Anne Pays Bio & Gallery.

Anne Pays has lived in Lania with her family for 12 years and her paintings reflect her love of Cyprus life and the local flora and fauna.

She has been interested in painting and drawing since a child, having inherited a talent from her father who was an accomplished water colour artist.

Anne studied art at her Senior school and is a Merit Graduate of the London School of Art.  Until recent years, she painted mainly for pleasure, gaining experience with various techniques, including the use of oils, watercolour, acrylics, pencil and pastels.

Since her move to Cyprus, she has fulfilled several commissions, including the poster for Midsummer Nights Dream in the 1999 production for Shakespeare at Curium.

The Online Studio, enables her to show her work to the outside world. She especially enjoys painting portraits of animals and much beloved pets and has taken commissions to do so.
